Schedule
For the health and safety of our volunteers we have outlined some basic guidelines
- 8:30 am
Arrival and Announcements- When you arrive, you will fill out a name tag or pick up one that has already been prepared for you. After a few brief announcements, we will head to our workstations and get started! - 9:15-9:30 am
Break Time- Once the dehydrated is filled with the first load, we will take a short break. The exact timing may vary depending on how quickly our morning work progresses. This is a wonderful time for conversation, fellowship, and enjoying some delicious treats together. We will also take a few moments to share a short devotional. - 9:45 am
Back to Work- After break, we return to trimming, traying and packaging produce as we prepare the nighttime load for the dehydrator. - 10:30am
Clean Up- We finish our shift by cleaning up together. Keeping our facility squeaky clean is important, and everyone pitches in! We also reset each room so it’s ready for the next day of production. - 11:00 am
Goodbye (Until Next Time!)- We wrap up the morning by saying goodbye and looking forward to the next shift. Some volunteers like to linger a little longer for one last cup of coffee and a bit more conversation before heading out.
