millions of pounds of produce and provide more than 68 million
servings annually. And, here in West Michigan, Sus Manos Gleaners is
already providing two million meals yearly to feed the hungry. So, why
isn’t more gleaning taking place in this food-rich country of ours? At
Kalamazoo Valley Gleaners we don’t have an answer to this question.
That’s why we view ourselves as the start of a movement of gleaners
poised to sweep this great nation of ours.
