Gleaning Valuable Insights
The above photo shows founders Jim and Jane Van Tuinen and Nathan and Mary Rykse. We visited Niagara Christian Gleaners and Ontario Christian Gleaners in October 2021, and we were inspired to see these successful gleaning operations that serve millions of meals annually.
We are being mentored by Dr. Jim Paauw and Tim Paauw from Sus Manos Gleaners in Grand Rapids, Michigan and Pete Wieringa from Niagara Christian Gleaners in Ontario, Canada.
We are praising God that our sister gleaner, Sus Manos Gleaners, in Grand Rapids, Michigan is now sending all their dehydrated food to the Ukraine and Haiti. With so many volunteers they are working 2 shifts a day 5 days a week! Millions of meals are being sent to people who are starving!
Niagara Christian Gleaners is also sending millions of meals to the Ukraine! The need is great!
Our friends from Niagara Christian Gleaners are praying for us at Kalamazoo Valley Gleaners!
